The number of female workers who become cadres is growing in factories and plants, agronomists, tractor drivers, mechanics, MTS workers, social workers and directors of collective farms, front-line promoters of collectivization, and so on. The network of kindergardens, nurseries, playgrounds, schools, etc. is expanding, freeing women from their role as the eternal nanny. The system of factory-kitchens, cafeterias, canteens, laundries, communal homes, dormitories is also growing.
